It seems simple enough to shop for a newborn baby. Sending that perfect welcome to the world gift with an abundance of adorable plush toys and cute infant outfits. However, there is so much more into baby gifts that only individuals who are parents will understand.
Recently, I helped one of my friends shop for an expecting mother and I thought my insight was very helpful and thought that I should share it. When expecting a little bundle of joy, you’re looking for a unique sort of basket! Let’s face it! You are not only shopping for new baby but you’re shopping for new mommy and new daddy! It is an exciting, nerve wrecking, difficult but, most rewarding transition. Therefore, your gift definitely needs to incorporate cuteness but, also include practicality. Let’s not forget how rewarding it is to see a new baby playing, using or wearing the adorable gift you sent! Shopping for miniature everything is most fascinating and of course, adorable. Adorable onesies, cute shoes, stylish pants, mini shirts, palm-sized socks and more! But, as I said, practicality adds the perfect finishing touches to any baby gift baskets. Being a new parent is definitely difficult and they can use all the help they can get. Examples like educational toys are always a good choice. Blocks, toy chain links, stacking containers or puzzles are all fantastic for baby’s development. They double as teethers if they are made of a rubbery material, too! Sleepers, bibs and storage for baby’s things are also greatly appreciated utility items that they can never really have enough of. Baby’s clothes get stained or they grow out of them quickly, so it is better to end up having a size that is too big rather than a size that is too small if you aren’t sure. The child will grow into it even if it doesn’t fit right now, and right on out of it soon enough! Kids never seem to stop growing. Treats and relaxation for the new mom and dad is another route to go as well. They will be on a crazy ride with their new arrival so remind them to indulge in themselves a little too! They will certainly appreciate the gesture.
