Walking Downtown in a Winter Wonderland

I grew up in Toronto’s GTA in a suburban area. I have always wanted to experience the “downtown” lifestyle. Indeed, it’s a whole new lifestyle. You’re surrounded by everything that makes Toronto great. The best restaurants, the Eaton Centre, Nathan Phillips Square, CN tower, the ROM… I can go on for days listing all these Toronto icons. It is absolutely beautiful. Especially during the winter break. Back when I lived in Vaughan, I used to make many trips during the holiday break to the city. It was a ritual! Continue reading

We are nearing that time of year! The long awaited winter break is near! But, we all know right before the break is the most stressful time during the year. Everyone needs to find a method that works for them though. Continue reading

Gift Giving Year Round

Here in Toronto we are enjoying the beautiful fall weather. Even though it feels like summer, I know that the holiday is not far off. As an administrative assistant, I have to start thinking about all the gifts we need to send for the holiday. This is a very long and tedious process. I need to organize which clients and partners are receiving gifts and the specific gifts they will be receiving. Who said the winter holidays is the only season of giving? I say all that gift giving is crucial all year long. There’s American Thanksgiving Day, Hanukkah, Christmas, new additions, birthdays, anniversaries and the list just goes on! Continue reading
